Town Planning & Building Overseers in A.P. Municipal Town Planning Sub Service: 194posts
Qualification: 1. Minimum General Education qualification (SSC) or its equivalent and 2. Must be a Licentiate in Civil Engineering or Sanitary
Engineering from any recognized institute or any equivalent qualification OR Pass in A.P. Govt., Examinations for Certificate in Architecture (New Rules) or any equivalent examination OR Pass in A.P. Govt., Certificate Examination in Architectural Draughtsmanship and Assistantship (Licentiate in Architectural Assistantship) OR Diploma of Overseer of any Engineering college or of any Polytechnic in the state recognized by the state Govt., or any equivalent qualification with experience in Town Planning for a minimum period of One year in a Municipality OR Draughtsmanship Civil Course under the revised syllabus introduced from July 1952 conducted by the I.T.I. or pass in D’man civil course conducted by the I.T.I. Govt., of A.P. with experience in Town Planning for a minimum period of two years OR Pass in All India Trade Test for Surveyor course conducted by the I.T.I. Govt., of A.P. with experience in Town Planning for a minimum period of two years OR Pass in the Government Technical Examinations: 1. Building Drawing and Estimating (Higher). 2. Surveying and Leveling (Higher) 3. Building Materials and Construction (Higher) 4.Practical Plan and Solid Geometry for a minimum period of one year in a Municipality Menstruation (Lower) with experience in Town Planning for a minimum period of two years in a Municipality
Fee: (Remittance of Fee) each applicant must pay Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only) towards Application Processing Fee and Examination Fee Rs.80/- (Rupees Eighty Only) (if Candidates are not exempted from payment of Fee). Payment of Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only) towards application processing fee is compulsory for all Applicants. The Candidate has to logon to the website (www.apspsc.gov.in) and enter his/her Basic Personal Details like Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, and Community. Immediately on entering the above details the Applicant will get (downloadable)- Challan Form to pay the Fee at AP Online centers /State Bank of India. The Applicant should pay the prescribed Fee in any one of the A.P. Online centers / State Bank of India and obtain Fee paid challan with Journal Number in the first instance. On the next working day after payment of Fee the Applicant should again visit website and enter the Journal Number to get the format of Application. The applicant has to invariably fill all the columns in the Application and should submit Online
Exemptions: The following categories of candidates are exempted from payment of fee:
a) SC, ST, BC & Ex-Service Men.
b) Families having Household Supply White Card issued by Civil Supplies Department, A.P. Government. (Residents of Andhra Pradesh)
c) Un employed youth in the age group of 18 to 36* years as per G.O.Ms.No. 439, G.A.(Ser.A) Dept., dated: 18/10/1996 should submit declaration at an appropriate time to the Commission.
d) Applicants belonging to the categories mentioned above (except Ex-Service Men) hailing from other States are not entitled for exemption from payment of fee and not entitled for claiming any kind of reservation.
